anyway! I’m sure you’re wondering about the title of the post but before I get to that…I wanted to share something funny with you guys.
for those of you that don’t know, i’m from orange county. and this was today’s groupon deal. only in orange county would they have a deal for botox…
but back to the reason for the post! yesterday i decided to watch the movie Spirit of the Marathon on hulu. if you haven’t seen it yet and like running, i totally recommend you head on over to hulu and watch it! the documentary follows a few people who are planning to run in the chicago marathon. some are new, some are old, and some are olympic athletes. either way, the movie shows their love of running. i may or may not have cried at the end 😉
well the movie got me thinking…i should set some sort of goal for myself! then it hit me…21 before 21! 21 half marathons or full marathons before i turn the age 21. as of right now, i am 18 years old and my birthday is on march 31. having completed only 1 half marathon so far, that means i need to do one just about every month. but hey, you know what? i put my mind to it so gosh darn it i’m gonna finish it! so by the time march 31 rolls around in the year 2013, i will have run in 21 races 🙂
now onto FOOD! because you know a post wouldn’t be complete without food, right??
i’ll show you some pics of my recent college cafeteria eats…yummy stuff. i know.
now i’m off to philosophy class! i can tell you are all oh so jealous…
